Client Server Architecture
Scope Note:
A computer system design for computer networks and operating systems that divides processing work between clients and servers. Clients are computers, programs, or processes that users employ to request services or resources from servers. Servers are computers, programs, or processes that provide specialized services (e.g., print servers, file servers). In a client-server relationship, client and server functions may or may not be carried out on the same computer or device.
