Treatment outcomes of nine autistic children who began receiving intensive behavioral intervention prior to 60 months of age were compared with outcomes for nine children who entered the same program after 60 months of age. Examined the effects of a short term, church-based program in relation to three program goals: increased sex information, heightened self-esteem, and clarity of personal sexual values.
