Comparison of perceptions of 41 supervisors and 39 teachers of visually handicapped students concerning time spent on six different teacher job components (travel, administration, direct instruction, preassessment consultation, postassessment consultation, in-service training) found no significant differences between the two groups. The standardized narrative for group orientation tours of a large university library was rewritten as audiocassette script for self-guided tours. Data from the 1977 Survey of the American Professoriate were used to examine the relationship among institutional origin, productivity, and institutional rewards.
