This study evaluated the acquired ability of school counselors to predict student perceptual responses as a possible basis for counselor function and identity. This is a survey study of black veterans' attitudes toward white authorities, the "law and order controversy, racial separatism, violence, and black identification. Results of the survey are held to suggest that alienation will move a substantial proportion of these veterans into the black radical movement. (KG)
