Various health and rehabilitative services staff participated in a four-day death education program. Participants in the program and a control group were given two equivalent forms of a knowledge test. The treatment group showed a higher gain score on the posttest than the control group. (RC)

A Monte Carlo study investigated the ability of the ALSCAL multidimensional scaling program to recover true structure inherent in simulated proximity measures when data were missing. Studied what modes were preferred by inmates to resolve conflict in a correctional setting and measured whether 66 inmates' participation in a 12-hour cognitive treatment program would improve their ability to handle conflict.
