Two classes of college students -- one an "Introduction to Teaching" class and the other an "Audiovisual Materials and Methods" class -- were taught using as aids the chalkboard, instructional films, the bulletin board, tape recordings, and overhead transparencies; students rated their attitudes towards each of the five aids.
