A survey of 84 day care programs compared staff who participated in child abuse intervention and prevention activities with those who did not. No differences were found on intervention activities, but staff in the trained group were significantly more involved in prevention and high risk referral. (CL)

Used a questionnaire to investigate job satisfaction and patterns of career development that characterize admissions officers (N=286). Results indicated respondents often entered admissions directly from college. A majority were satisfied with their jobs. At all levels respondents planned to leave admissions within five years. (RC)

Behavioral studies have shown that youths in various settings can function effectively as behavior change agents. The study used five 15- to 18- year-old male youths in a closed institutional setting as behavior change agents for five male youth counselors.
