The main objective of this study was to find out problems of people with visual impairment in rehabilitation centers in Nigeria. The sample consisted of 600 participants. A Questionnaire was used to collect data for this study. Two null hypotheses were formulated and tested at the 0.05 alpha-level of significance. Data were analyzed using t-test statistic. The findings revealed that the major problems of the participants included health, communication, accommodation, economic/finance and psycho-social. The results also indicated that there were no significant differences in respondents' problems based on gender whereas there were significant differences in respondents' problems on the basis of type of rehabilitation services. The findings of this study shed light on the problems encountered by participants in rehabilitation centers in Nigeria. Hence, it is recommended that Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) should be fully developed in Nigeria as an alternative approach to Institutional Rehabilitation. (Contains 3 tables.)
