2004 AACC Convention Highlights

Over 2,000 community college professionals participated in the 84th annual meeting of the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) in Minneapolis, Minnesota, April 24-27, 2004. Attendees were witness to a special appearance by President George W. Bush and were treated to presentations from NAACP President Kweisi Mfume, "Washington Post" columnist William Raspberry, and former U.N. weapons inspector David Kay, among others. This article presents the highlights of the 2004 AACC convention.
