A Five Dimensional Model for Educating the Net Generation
Beyers, Ronald Noel
Educational Technology & Society, v12 n4 p218-227 2009
This paper proposes a multi-dimensional concept model of an ICT enabled classroom to highlight potential similarities and differences between where teachers perceive themselves relative to their learners. Some teachers and learners may be at the two dimensional text-book level, while others are operating in at a globalization level. Being armed with this type of information, educators may be empowered to rethink their educational strategies especially where ICTs are employed in an educational context. (Contains 3 figures.)
