This paper discusses the benefits of using Web-based worksheets for library instruction in a variety of library settings, including classroom presentations, hands-on labs, and at a distance. Web-based worksheets have been used successfully in the Haskayne School of Business MBA program and the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Calgary. Benefits include greater flexibility and interactivity, student focus, potential for follow-up, cost-effectiveness, and staff training. The article also includes some basic tips for designing and developing effective Web resources. (Contains 8 notes.)
