In this edition of Innovate-Blog, James N. Shimabukuro issues a call for more engaged and active readers and writers to feed the conversation on "Innovate's" new blog feature, Innovate-Blog (I-Blog). I-Blog's opening months saw a number of active back-and-forth exchanges. Shimabukuro's posting on Michelle Rhee, chancellor of the District of Columbia Public Schools system, prompted a series of posts by several authors as well as a reader poll, and Steve Eskow and Lynn Zimmerman initiated a discussion around Eskow's notion of a new technology-mediated educational paradigm that eliminates the physical campus. There will undoubtedly be more postings on this topic in coming months; look for this and other provocative articles on I-Blog.
