Leadership in the School Setting
Ediger, Marlow
Education, v129 n1 p17-20 Fall 2008
Where should public school leaders be trained to become principals, supervisors, and superintendents? Traditionally, schools of education in universities have been responsible for training school administrators. This notion has been challenged by those advocating alternative choices for administrators in schools. Thus, the business and military world have advocated their being able to provide needed leadership in the public schools. This paper will analyze diverse procedures in providing leaders for the education of students.
