This article presents the results of a comprehensive survey of integrated library system (ILS) vendors conducted by the author and commissioned by "Computers in Libraries" CIL. The survey was intended to: (1) provide an up-to-date comparison of functionality currently available in ILS products; (2) provide a comparison of support services available from ILS service providers; (3) learn the practical advice given by ILS service providers; (4) determine the current areas of strong trends and interest in ILS services; and (5) provide current contact information for readers interested in more information. In this survey, it was found that holds management and prepackaged reports are also now provided by all vendors responding to the survey. The results further reveal that the features and capabilities provided in this article have become almost ubiquitous. Each vendor in the survey was asked to identify its product's greatest strength. The vendors' answers along with full contact information and other essential details are presented. (Contains 5 tables.)
