In this article, the author offers good-humored advice and her thoughts about owning teachers' own emotional labor or how to think, feel, and act in ways that help them to fall in love with teaching all over again. She suggests that teachers should: (1) identify what makes them happy in their classrooms; (2) keep learning from their students; (3) cherish their literacies; (4) find the courage to develop new ideas; (5) find joy in what students accomplish; (6) seek things other than school that give them energy; (7) find ways to gather positives; (8) claim their own mentors; and (9) decide to think, feel, and act differently.
