The Place of Staff Morale in Educational Marketing
Zengaro, Franco
ERS Spectrum, v23 n4 p32-39 Fall 2005
This study examined the current place of staff morale in the educational marketing of one high school in the northwestern United States. It also looked at ways in which staff morale could be improved to ensure a positive image of the school in the community. Research was conducted by emailing questionnaires on issues relating to staff morale to staff, students, and parents. The results showed all three parties were satisfied with their school overall. It appeared the staff had internalized a positive school image and were presenting it to the outside community. The questionnaire responses supported the literature stating that a positive school climate will lead to high staff morale, which is then expressed to the community. (Contains 2 tables.)
