Three-Dimensional Photo Structures
Vieth, Ken
SchoolArts: The Art Education Magazine for Teachers, v106 n4 p24-25 Dec 2006
People influence lives in many ways. Through the author's desire to encourage high school students to reflect on the influential people in their lives, he developed this three-dimensional project in which they create a celebratory three-dimensional structure that shares their impressions of themselves and those who have influenced them. This lesson addresses character education by asking students to reflect on the six pillars: (1) responsibility; (2) caring; (3) citizenship; (4) fairness; (5) trustworthiness; and (6) respect. These are qualities that will be exemplified in the influential people in the students lives. (Contains 1 online resource.)
