Know Me or No Me--Finding Your Best Prospects for Enrollment

This article presents some questions on how to find, convert and keep the best prospects for enrollment in child care and education. First, what do I need to know? There are two types of profiles to look at to target specific audiences: (1) "demographics", indicates of a typical qualified buyer; and (2) "psychographics", addresses lifestyle factors of target audiences. Second, where do I find this information? There are three easily-accessible sources for target market information, it includes market research firms, customer base, and inquiry profiles. Third, how do I use the information once I have it? One of the primary uses for good information about the most qualified prospects and loyal customers is to help develop meaningful marketing skills. When it comes to finding, converting, and keeping the best prospects, the words that hold the most truth might just be, "Know me, or no me."
