Cookson, Peter W., Jr.
Teaching Pre K-8, v35 n3 p12 Nov-Dec 2004
In this article, the author shares tips on how to develop a student's creative intelligence and provide activities that enable students to discover their innate abilities. These include making sure that the classroom is a home for students and reflects their hopes and aspirations, creating an effective classroom where every child has the opportunity to discover his or her talents, and treating each student as an individual learner by providing multiple learning opportunities. To create this type of classroom is an enormous public service in today's educational environment.
