Jijia, Zhang; Jun, Chen; Changfeng, Dong
Chinese Education and Society, v38 n5 p18-30 Sep-Oct 2005
A study of teachers in institutions of higher education in Guangdong Province revealed that their "fears" clustered in the following areas: interpersonal relations; family, finances, and security; work, life, and career; work environment; work objectives; personal security and respect; and work responsibilities. These fears were mainly associated with work and were work-related stressors. Appropriate measures should be taken to relieve the psychological pressure on teachers. (Contains 2 tables and 4 notes.)
