Education Digest: Essential Readings Condensed for Quick Review, v71 n1 p14-16 Sep 2005
Great teachers have an intense passion for learning, which is reflected in their students. Teachers make learning enjoyable while teaching students to better organize their ideas, explore their curiosity, and glean the most from each lesson. Students mastering these skills reap the benefits throughout their lifetime. Even good teachers can get stuck in a rut. Teaching can be repetitive, re-doing the same lessons class after class, year after year. In this article, the author discusses how some simple changes can add more variety and passion to teachers' teaching, with results realized in their students' performance. Here, the author presents some easy-to-follow suggestions for conquering a few of educators' many challenges.
