Using Hallways and Walls to Reflect Children's Learning
Wilford, Sara
Early Childhood Today, v19 n5 p14-15 Mar 2005
This article discusses the importance of documenting children's work. Documenting children's work is a widely accepted aspect of professional teaching. Individual and group portfolios allow teachers to maintain a record of children's development across disciplines, and support discussions of their progress in parent-teacher conferences. Here, the author gives suggestions on how to present children's work on walls, without sloppy mounting, sagging paper, or careless presentation.
