Givens, Ron
Technology Teacher, v65 n4 p24 Dec 2005
The first year of coordinating a local Technology Student Association (TSA) leadership conference is the most challenging. An organizer will quickly learn from his or her successes and failures and will make appropriate adjustments the following year. Hosting a conference requires a lot of work but it is very rewarding. The benefits of being actively involved in a leadership conference include seeing students demonstrate their leadership and technology skills. Financially, hosting a conference can be a revenue-producing activity that benefits your TSA chapter. Students attending the conference will be better prepared to compete at the state and national level. In this article, the author provides ten tips on how to organize a TSA leadership conference.
