Teachers were presented with a rather pitiful set of suggested classroom activities, all of which (naturally) involved text messaging. A statement from a Nokia representative established both the company's selfless intentions and its mastery of creative reasoning: "There's an almost perfect correlation between the people who use text messaging most often and those who have been least likely to vote in elections," she said. "Text messaging is ideally suited to help reverse that trend by making it easier for young people to be involved in the political process."
