Integration is social cohesion measured at the individual level. Examines three of its dimensions--inclusion, participation, and belonging--using data from the General Social Surveys on Time Use. Describes the inclusion and participation of Canadians age 15-29 years in 1986, 1992, and 1998; examines differences by age group and gender; and explores the effects of human and social capital in individuals, families, and communities on integration.
