Teachers' Multiple Roles and Skill Flexibility: Effects on Work Attitudes.
Rosenblatt, Zehava
Educational Administration Quarterly, v37 n5 p684-708 Dec 2001
Examines the effect of Israeli secondary teachers' multiple roles and skill flexibility on three work attitudes: burnout, tendency to quit, and organizational commitment. Finds, for example, that skill flexibility mediated the effects of demographic variables (age, education, nationality, school size) on all three work attitudes. Draws implications for teachers' work design. (Contains 2 figures and 83 references.) (PKP)
