This study evaluated both the accuracy and stability of motivational profiles with 74 individuals with mental retardation. Raters were presented with three motivational profiles and asked to identify the one corresponding to the person they had rated 3 years earlier. Results indicated good to excellent stability and very good accuracy. Results support the sensitivity theory of motivation. (Contains references.) (Author/DB)
