Investigated male and female college students regarding their perceptions of their college experiences, career plans, and influences on life choices. Interviews and surveys of college students indicated that males and females were both strongly career oriented, though there were gender differences in career motivations, preparations, and strategies. Students shared an ideology of gender difference. (SM)
