Study of Verbal Peer Feedback on the Improvement of the Quality of Writing and the Transfer of Knowledge in Francophone Students in Grade 4 Living in a Minority Situation in Canada.
Blain, Sylvie
Language, Culture and Curriculum, v14 n2 p156-70 2001
Discusses results of an action research project done in a Grade 4 classroom. Students were taught to provide verbal feedback on compositions written by their peers. Results suggest that elementary students were not only able to provide constructive peer feedback but also that they succeeded in improving the quality of their compositions after receiving comments from their peers.
