Wolfradt, Uwe; Doll, Jorg
Journal of Educational Computing Research, v24 n1 p13-27 2001
This study investigated the relation between personality traits (Five Factor Model), personal factors (innovativeness and self-efficacy), social factors (expectations or relevant reference groups), and motives (information, entertainment, and interpersonal communication) for going online among German high school Internet users. Demonstrated the potential of the three motives to predict types of Internet activities. (Author/LRW)
