Explores high school counselors' knowledge about the risk factors for adolescent suicide and knowledge of the appropriate steps to take when a student threatens suicide. Findings show that the majority of school counselors surveyed were knowledgeable about the risk factors of adolescent suicide and about the appropriate intervention and postvention steps schools should take regarding suicidal students.
