Uses Child Assessment Schedule and self-report measures to assess psychiatric status in a group of delinquents (N=72) adjudicated before a juvenile court. A significant difference was found between ethnic groups on self-report scores. Seventy percent of subjects received at least one psychiatric diagnosis. The most prevalent diagnoses were conduct disorder, substance abuse disorder, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. (Author/JDM)
