In-Service and Pre-Service Teachers' Perceptions of a Web-based, Case-based Learning Environment.
Bronack, Stephen C.; Kilbane, Clare R.; Herbert, Joanne M.; McNergney, Robert F.
Journal of Information Technology for Teacher Education, v8 n3 p305-20 1999
Investigated preservice and inservice teachers' attitudes toward CaseNET, a web-based, case-based learning environment. Analysis of participants' written comments indicated that they considered CaseNET an opportunity to engage in professional development via exploration, reflection, collaboration, and hands-on interactions with authentic teaching tasks. The combination of cases and technology provided an opportunity to engage developing teachers in professional behaviors. (SM)
