Information literacy is the key to a successful technology initiative. Two scenarios are presented which demonstrate the need for and benefits of addressing teachers' inclination as well as preparation in terms of instructional technology use. Adult learning possibilities for literacy and technology are identified and the importance and examples of scaffolding are noted. Lists the 10 myths behind the software trap. (AEF)
