What's in a Name? Comparing DPA and Ph.D. Programs.

Compares graduate programs leading to either a DPA (Doctor of Public Administration) or a Ph.D., especially as regards research productivity. Finds few differences between the programs, noting that degree title is more informative about the type of students recruited than outputs (e.g., journal publications).
