Introduction to the Mini-Series: Implications of Temperament for the Practice of School Psychology.
Teglasi, Hedwig
School Psychology Review, v27 n4 p475-78 1998
Research in temperament attempts to explain the normal range of individual differences in adjusting to stimuli, activities, and persons in the environment. Mini-series reviews temperament constructs and relates them to development of children's interpersonal and academic difficulties. They show how understanding temperamental roots of individuality can enhance theories of personality, improve strategies for education, and inform programs. (Author/JDM)
