Investigated contributions of perceived parenting style, current relationship with parents, and psychological well-being on perceived student social/emotional adjustment to university and academic achievement. Found that mutual reciprocity and discussion with parents and psychological well-being variables had direct links to adjustment. There was an indirect, positive relationship between authoritative parenting and adaptation variables. Predictor variables differed by gender and outcomes. (Author/KB)
