Consumer Perspectives on the Collaborative Teaching Model: Views of Students with and without LD and Their Parents.
Gerber, Paul J.; Popp, Patricia A.
Remedial and Special Education, v20 n5 p288-96 Sep-Oct 1999
This study used focus groups to examine the perspectives of students with and without learning disabilities and their parents regarding collaborative teaching. Both students and parents expressed high levels of satisfaction with the model. Concerns included poor communication regarding the model to parents, the need to ensure alternative models when needed, and lack of continuity across grade levels. (Author/DB)
