Kerwin, MaryLouise E.; Berkowitz, Robert I.
School Psychology Review, v25 n3 p316-28 1996
The fourth edition of the "Diagnostic Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders" (DSM) recognizes that feeding problems of infants and children are not typically the same as eating problems of adolescents, thus the addition of a broad diagnostic category, "Feeding and Eating Disorders of Infancy or Early Childhood." Subtypes are proposed for anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa. Presents the utility and limitations of the DSM-IV for the practice of school psychology. (Author/JDM)
