The University of Massachusetts at Boston (UMB) shifted all of its school leadership programs to the cohort model. This article reviews UMB's school leadership programs, describes the survey methodology used to take stock of the program and its cohort design, then summarizes survey findings to identify five different types of impacts reported by program participants.
