Woodbury, Sonia
School Science and Mathematics, v98 n6 p303-11 Oct 1998
One emphasis of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics' (NCTM) core mathematics curriculum for all high school students is mathematical connections. Presents working definitions for "curriculum,""interdisciplinary," and "integrated," and a model of curriculum design based on the work of Harold Alberty. This study suggests the need for greater emphasis on building and using models of curriculum integration. (Author/SJR)
