Looks at distress signals in technology-teacher education programs (declining enrollment, curriculum stagnation, budget cuts) and suggests that faculty must work to eliminate or alleviate them. Suggests that faculty have failed to be actively involved in professional associations and research efforts concerning the need for and effectiveness of their program. (JOW)
