Predicting Adolescent Peer Problems and Antisocial Activities: The Relative Roles of Aggression and Dysregulation.
Pope, Alice W.; Bierman, Karen L.
Developmental Psychology, v35 n2 p335-46 Mar 1999
Examined relative roles of aggression and other dysregulated behaviors in predicting adolescent peer problems and antisocial behavior. Found that aggression and withdrawal were stable and linked to peer difficulties in elementary school and adolescence, but indicated significant risk for adolescent rejection, victimization, and antisocial activity primary when accompanied by irritable-inattentive behaviors.
