Organizational Dimensions of Climate and the Impact on School Achievement.
Dunn, Randy J.; Harris, Lonnie G.
Journal of Instructional Psychology, v25 n2 p100-14 Jun 1998
Examines selected factors associated with classroom climate (satisfaction, friction, competition, difficulty, cohesiveness) as perceived by fourth-grade students and explores the relationship between those factors and student academic achievement in the areas of reading, math, and language. Findings indicate that climate plays a relatively minor role in influencing achievement. (AEF)
