Compares emotional and behavioral problems as well as suicidal thoughts and tendencies for boys and girls with a history of sexual abuse to boys and girls without such a history. Both sexually abused boys and girls reported significantly more emotional problems, behavioral problems, suicidal thoughts, and suicide attempts than their nonabused counterparts. Results also indicated that sexual abuse carries more consequences for boys. (MKA)
