Exploring Factors Influencing Parents' and Early Childhood Practitioners' Beliefs About Inclusion.
Stoiber, Karen Callan; Gettinger, Maribeth; Goetz, Donna
Early Childhood Research Quarterly, v13 n1 p107-24 Mar 1998
Assessed psychometric properties of new measure of beliefs concerning early-childhood inclusion, "My Thinking about Inclusion Scale." Found that parents of children with disabilities were more positive than parents of children without disabilities; parents' beliefs were related to educational level, number of children, and marital status. Practitioners' beliefs were associated with educational level, training background, and years of experience. (Author/KB)
