Preconceptions of Mediated Instruction for Various Domains of Learning Outcomes.
Cennamo, Katherine S.
International Journal of Instructional Media, v20 n3 p195-206 1993
Analysis of a survey of 42 undergraduate students rating ease of learning psychomotor skills, intellectual skills, attitudes, and verbal information from books, television, computers, and interactive video. Data analysis indicated a significant medium by domain interaction. Interviews revealed student perceptions were influenced by capabilities of the medium: symbol systems and processing capabilities, task characteristics, and learner preferences. (Author/PEN)
