Initiating and Fading Self-Management Interventions To Increase Math Fluency in General Education Classes.
McDougall, Dennis; Brady, Michael P.
Exceptional Children, v64 n2 p151-66 Win 1998
This study investigated effects of multiple-component behavioral self-management (BSM) interventions on math fluency and engaged time of five fourth-grade students with and without disabilities in general education classrooms. Students increased their math fluency and engaged time, and these continued to improve when the self-management interventions were faded. Improved skills were also generalized to math word problems.
