A study examined the reactions of Canadian secondary school teachers to the rapid introduction by a community group of a school computer laboratory connected to the Internet. Observation, surveys, and interviews revealed a lack of district policy on technology integration and related curriculum development, and needs for technical support, teacher time, and adapted inservice strategies.
