Attributional and Emotional Determinants of Aggression in People with Mild Intellectual Disabilities.
Baker, Warren; Bramston, Paul
Journal of Intellectual and Developmental Disability, v22 n3 p169-85 Sep 1997
People (n=103) with mild intellectual disabilities responded to several scales of anger, hostility, aggression, and personality. Results were consistent with earlier studies of relationships among anger, hostility, and aggression conducted with the general population. Findings suggest that people with intellectual disabilities may benefit from training aimed at the cognitive and affective components of aggression. (Author/DB)
